Sport for Development is a cooperation between the KNVB, International Sports Alliance (ISA) and Right To Play. With support of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs these three organisations are working together in eight development countries using sport for capacity development. With this programme Kenya, Mali, Egypt, Mozambique, South-Africa, Indonesia, Surinam and the Palestine areas will be reached.
Sport and culture are an elementary part in a developed society. Sport develops people, increases life circumstances, and stimulates participations and integration; in the Netherlands and in development countries, in involves kids that would otherwise stand on the sidelines.
